Its composition and scale are intended to provide overhead or ambient illumination from a freestanding floor position.

The design emphasises a long, curved arm that positions the shade away from the base, creating a 'fishing rod' aesthetic where the light appears to float above a seating area. The shade is offered in Matt Black and Aged Gold options to suit different schemes.

Construction combines a weighted black marble base with a thin black metal stem and a fabric shade bisected by a gold-toned metal band. The contrast between substantial stone and a refined metal arc is a deliberate design cue that balances presence with minimal profile.

The fabric panels of the ellipsoid shade deliver a diffused, soft light suitable for creating atmosphere in living rooms and lounges.
