Formally the lamp uses three clear geometric elements: a white marble cylinder, a dome-shaped shade and a slender J-shaped tubular frame finished in matte black, with silver-toned collars and a swivel joint. The design wraps the frame around the side of the base rather than seating on top, giving the piece a distinctive profile.

Construction is straightforward and tactile: a solid marble base provides a low centre of gravity while the metal stem and dome are finished in matte black. Silver-toned metal collars secure the frame to the base and a swivel joint at the shade allows directional adjustment.

Light is delivered through the dome-shaped shade and can be directed where needed using the swivel joint, making the lamp suitable as a task light for desks, bedside tables or occasional work surfaces.
