Aromas Hedula Pendant

The Aromas Hedula Pendant, designed by AC Studio for Aromas, is a ceiling-mounted pendant from the Hedula range. Its shallow, disc-like silhouette and nested shade construction reference contemporary, architectural design while performing as an interior ambient fitting.

The pendant pairs a wide, low-profile cylindrical outer shade with a smaller, nested inner cylinder. Both shades are formed from an open-weave lattice of horizontal and vertical ribs; the layered geometry gives the piece visual depth and a tiered diffusion of light.

Image analysis indicates the shade is a woven fibre—natural or synthetic—finished in a matte black or deep charcoal. The weave is intentionally open to reveal the internal structure and to contrast the dark framing with the lighter inner glow.

Light filters both through the sides of the lattice and from the centred frosted glass globe, producing diffuse ambient illumination with subtle patterned shadow. The design is intended to create atmosphere and warmth in interior spaces rather than concentrated task light.

The pendant is supplied to be hardwired into a ceiling junction box via its suspension cord. It has an IP20 rating suitable for general interior zones; the central light source is a single large spherical frosted glass bulb housed in the inner shade.
