Aromas Dora Pendant

The Aromas Dora Pendant is a ceiling-mounted pendant designed by Jana Chang for indoor illumination. Its distinctive spherical form pairs a polished gold-toned upper hemisphere with a clear glass lower half to create a considered decorative centrepiece.

The design intent is simple and sculptural: a horizontally bisectioned globe with a slender vertical stem in a matching gold finish rising to the suspension point. A thin black cord and a compact cylindrical canopy in matte black keep the ceiling presence minimal so the orb remains the focus.

Construction combines a high-shine metallic upper hemisphere and a clear glass lower hemisphere, joined to form a seamless transition between materials. The result is a refined contrast between reflective metal and transparent glass that reads as contemporary yet timeless.

The clear lower hemisphere directs light downwards and outwards through the glass, making the pendant suitable for task or accent lighting when hung at the appropriate height. The flexible suspension cord allows the fitting to be positioned to suit island benches, dining tables or singular feature points in living spaces; the product is rated IP20 for indoor, dry-zone use.
