The Anglepoise Original 1227 Floor Lamp by George Carwardine from the Original 1227 range is a classic articulated floor lamp that combines the iconic Anglepoise silhouette with a floor-standing pole. The design pairs a conical shade and visible constant-spring articulation to deliver considered, functional task lighting.

The lamp is offered in Jet Black, Linen White and Dove Grey, letting you choose a finish to suit your scheme. Its three-part articulated arm and multiple pivot points give broad reach and precise positioning; the arm achieves stability through the collection's triple-spring balancing formula.

Constructed primarily from metal with chrome fittings, the shade features a white interior to optimise reflection. The lamp sits on a domed circular base and is finished with a braided fabric cable that runs along the arm, reinforcing the collection's traditional detailing.

Designed for reading and task illumination, the Original 1227 directs light through its conical shade for focused, glare-controlled output.
