A-Emotional Light Kite Ceiling Light

The A-Emotional Light Kite Ceiling Light, designed by Arturo Álvarez for the Kite range, is a surface-mounted ceiling fitting intended for ambient interior illumination. Its aerodynamic, four-pointed form references a kite in motion while remaining restrained and architectural.

The design is formed from curved planes and a slightly convex central body that bows away from the ceiling, producing a soft, sculptural profile. It is offered in multiple sizes to allow original compositions and layered arrangements across a ceiling plane.

The diffuser is finished in SIMETECH®, a textured, semi-translucent material that emphasises the tension of the lines and gives the surface a fine granular visual texture. The primary appearance is an off-white, translucent tone that takes on a warm glow when illuminated.

Light is delivered as a soft, diffused field through the main surface while the shape also projects a secondary halo on the surrounding ceiling, creating balanced ambient light and subtle depth.
