STORY

The Nordlux Linear LED Surface Task Light is a slim, surface-mounted task fitting from Danish brand Nordlux. Designed as a linear LED task light, it is intended primarily for under-cabinet, shelf and other task-oriented surfaces where direct, even illumination is needed.

Its form is an elongated rectangular profile with a full-length frosted diffuser that provides balanced light across the work surface. The fitting is offered in White and Black finishes and in three wattage options: 5W, 9W and 12W to suit different run lengths and output requirements.

Construction centres on a rigid, low-profile housing that keeps the fitting discreet in shallow or constrained spaces. The minimalist aesthetic is practical and refined, with no visible front or side wiring and a small integrated rocker switch on the front right-hand side for local control.

The frosted diffuser delivers even, glare-controlled illumination and the integrated LED source produces a warm-toned glow suited to task zones. The left end incorporates a protruding connector pin, indicating the unit can be linked to other fixtures or connected to a power cord for continuous runs.
