STORY

The Flos KTribe Table Lamp is a refined table luminaire from Flos’s KTribe range. Its tapered, truncated-cone shade sits above a very thin cylindrical stem and a flat, square polished base, creating a disciplined silhouette that provides diffused illumination for tabletop surfaces.

Design intent centres on a double-layered shade: an opal inner diffuser that softens light is enclosed by a translucent outer skin, producing a subtle 'ghost' effect. The KTribe is offered with two outer finishes: Fumee and Transparent.

Construction combines die-cast polished Zamak alloy for the base, a polished aluminium tubular stem and an injection-moulded matte black PA base cover. The inner diffuser is opal polycarbonate, while the outer diffuser is PMMA in either transparent or fumee tones.

The inner opal diffuser prevents direct glare and delivers an even, ambient wash suitable for desks, bedside tables and side tables. The fixture is rated IP20 and intended for interior, dry environments only.
