Dar Asmara 6-Light Pendant

The Dar Asmara 6‑Light Pendant from the Asmara range is a decorative ceiling pendant that pairs an antique brass metal frame with clear faceted glass crystals. It is designed for ambient and decorative interior illumination where a shimmering focal point is required.

The pendant has a bulbous, lantern-like silhouette with a wide central section that tapers at the top and bottom. The central band is set with large rectangular faceted crystals while the upper and lower sections are densely packed with smaller octagonal crystals. The fitting is suspended from a matching antique brass chain and circular ceiling canopy, with the power cable integrated into the suspension.

Constructed from metal and glass, the Asmara pendant is a Class I earthed fixture intended for indoor use. The fitting has a diameter of 50cm and a net weight of 6kg, reflecting its substantial, tactile build.

Light is provided by six internal sources that sit within the crystal layers so that each bulb is visible through the glass and intended to refract light, producing a shimmering ambience. The pendant requires 6 × 40W max SES candle (CNDL) bulbs and is suitable as a primary light source in medium to large rooms.

The drop is adjustable from 70cm up to 160cm to suit different ceiling heights and placements. The fitting is rated IP20 for dry indoor environments and must be installed as a Class I earthed luminaire. Warranty is 2 years standard, extendable to 5 years with online registration.
