STORY

The Bega Outdoor Bollard is a square-profile outdoor path light from the German manufacturer Bega, designed to provide durable, free-radiating illumination for garden and landscape settings. Its geometric, cuboid form and strong outer frame give a purposeful architectural presence suitable for private residential paths and planted borders.

Formally the fitting pairs a thick opal/frosted rectangular diffuser with a protective metal cage made from metal and finished in your choice of Silver or Graphite. The design is offered in two heights and the open-frame layout allows light to emit broadly in horizontal directions, creating balanced ambience along walkways.

Construction is robust: a metal body and prominent corner pillars surround the internal diffuser, while visible assembly screws indicate accessible maintenance points. The product is supplied to withstand exterior conditions and carries an IP65 rating for reliable weather protection.

Light is delivered by integrated LED technology at a warm 3000 K colour temperature for a soft, welcoming tone. The thick opal diffuser reduces glare and provides even, free-radiating illumination suited to wayfinding and general garden lighting rather than focused task lighting.

Mounting is flexible for site conditions: the bollard can be fixed to a concrete foundation via a screw-on base or secured in the ground with a buried steel root spike; one of these mounting accessories is supplied with the luminaire. The standard manufacturer warranty is two years, with the option to agree an extended warranty of up to five years for project specifications in writing.
