STORY

The Astro Zeppo Bathroom Ceiling Light is a semi‑flush bathroom ceiling light from Astro's Zeppo range. Its distinctive flattened, Zeppelin‑like shade and compact stem create a modern silhouette intended for ambient illumination in bathroom settings.

The elliptical blown opal glass shade is the defining feature, designed to diffuse light evenly and minimise glare. The Zeppo is offered in Polished Chrome and Matt Black finishes to suit contemporary schemes.

Construction combines a blown opal glass diffuser with a metal canopy and central stem. The fitting is Class II (double insulated) and built for everyday bathroom use; a 3‑year manufacturer warranty is supplied.

The light requires one standard E27 lamp (maximum 60W) and delivers soft, uniform ambient illumination through the opal glass. The diffuser helps create balanced ambience rather than a focused task beam.

The Zeppo carries an IP44 rating, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. As it uses a conventional E27 lamp there is no integral LED driver; dimming will depend on the chosen lamp and a compatible dimmer. No external transformer is required for a mains E27 lamp.
