The Astro Ginestra Pendant is a ceiling-mounted pendant from the Ginestra range, presented by Astro. Its wide, low-profile dome and minimalist industrial silhouette create a purposeful statement while directing light downwards for task or ambient illumination.

Form follows function: the shallow, geometric shade features a matte exterior and a reflective white interior to maximise dispersion. The Ginestra is offered in White and Black finishes to suit considered interior schemes.

Constructed in metal, the pendant is suspended by a single black cable with a small polished metallic coupling at the shade apex, giving a clean connection detail. The cord-hung design allows the drop to be adjusted during installation.

The fitting houses one E27/ES lamp and the wide aperture produces a broad, even beam suitable as a primary light for dining, kitchen island or general living areas. The reflective white interior reduces contrast and helps deliver balanced light, making the pendant effective for both task and ambient roles.

Practical notes: the pendant is supplied as a luminaire only (lamp not included) and accepts a maximum 1 x 72W E27/ES lamp. It is compatible with dimmable E27 LED lamps where specified; there is no separate driver. The Ginestra is rated IP20 and intended for dry, internal locations. Relevant paperwork (CE/UKCA documentation and care guides) is available, and the product carries a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.
