Artemide Tolomeo Floor Lamp, designed by Michele De Lucchi, is the floor-standing iteration of the Tolomeo range. The lamp pairs a slender vertical support and flat circular base with a multi-articulated, cantilevered arm to provide precise task and ambient lighting where you need it.

The design is intentionally technical and balanced: a long reach arm articulates from the vertical pole and holds a translucent, truncated-cone diffuser. It is offered in Grey (0947020A) and Natural (0947010A) finishes and is supplied with diffuser options in Parchment 180 or Satin 180 to suit different degrees of soft diffusion.

Construction combines polished aluminium arms with a parchment paper diffuser mounted on a plastic frame. The mechanism shows visible springs, steel tension cables and knurled pivot joints that reflect the Tolomeo's engineered aesthetic, and the base carries a subtle concentric pattern.

Light is delivered through a translucent shade that provides gentle, even diffusion; the shade is mounted on a pivoting bracket so it remains vertically oriented as the arm moves. The integrated spring-tension system keeps the arm in position once adjusted, making the lamp effective for reading, task work or creating balanced ambient light.
