When pendants are impractical or not desired aesthetically, a carefully designed grid of recessed adjustable downlights can achieve similar food-flattering results. Uses premium high-CRI LED modules in small-aperture housings with precise aiming to light tables without spilling onto guests faces.

Approach Detail

Use 3-4" aperture adjustable recessed fixtures with 25-35° beam angles. Specify 95+ CRI, 2700K modules. Aim one fixture per two-top, two fixtures per four-top. Focus on table center, not guest positions. Supplement with wall washing for ambient layer.
