Mourant Ozannes

The leading offshore law firm Mourant Ozannnes’ newly designed office space certainly embraces a modern industrial interior theme. With exposed air conditioning & ventilation system in the open plan breakout area, and raw wood chip surfaces in the multi-use kitchen spaces. The team at lightsource working closely with its Jersey-based property architect client delivered a selection of decorative light fixtures that would be sympathetic to the industrial theme and match both client’s brief.

The Original BTC Titan high bay light, frequently seen in factories and industrial units were used in the large open plan seating and meeting room area. A selection of orange, grey, yellow lighting fixtures were chosen to match the vibrant space.

Finally, for the main ‘staff café’ area, we recommended a selection of pendant lights which have the appearance of being made from wood, but using a special painting technique, the 42cm diameter ‘Woody’ pendant lamp is made from metal - A perfect tie-in with the overall interior theme.

The works were undertaken over a short period of time and utilised a simple palette of modern, quality materials.  Refurbished areas include the main reception, client meeting rooms and breakout areas, the ‘library’ and the staff café.  The project was completed to programme and on budget.
